Located at the end of Glasgow’s iconic shopping street and crossed by Argyle Street, the building provides prime retail space in the heart of the city. Tasked with extensive internal and external repairs, the required works were successfully completed to provide a high quality commercial unit for the client. 

The works comprised demolition, structural alterations renovation of existing metal windows, roof repairs, stone repairs, refurbishment of common areas including terrazzo flooring and metal balustrading.
The congested city centre site provided a restricted working area to complete the project. Detailed logistical planning and extensive neighbour liaison ensured work was carried out with minimal disruption to pedestrians and surrounding buildings.

In addition to this a full health and safety plan was developed taking into consideration the high footfall surrounding the site. Secure scaffolding, debris netting and hoardings were erected to protect both members of the public and site operatives.
