How we do it

Focused on Health and Safety

The health and safety of building users, site personnel and the general public is always our first priority.

Our accredited Health & Safety procedures ensure everyone is fully briefed, trained and equipped to carry out all activities safely.  We continually review our performance and developments in legislation to ensure we are always improving and fully compliant.

Our Health & Safety Management System is accredited to ISO 45001:2018 and we are also proud to be accredited to the following health and safety schemes:

  • Constructionline Gold
  • CHAS
  • Considerate Constructor
  • SafeContractor
  • Achilles BuildingConfidence

Focused on Quality

To ensure we meet and hopefully exceed our clients’ expectations, we have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.

Digital technology is at the forefront of how we manage quality. We use Fieldwire software which gives us the ability to create and distribute a pictorial report in real time, with each photo tagged to its exact location on a contract drawing, as well as being linked to the relevant activity on the Construction Programme.

On fast-moving projects, this capability is ideal for raising and resolving quality and technical queries quickly, whether with CDP contractors or directly with the design team. Similarly, and given that we need to demonstrate getting it right first time, the Fieldwire reports provide high levels of confidence across the team, that we are doing just that.

Our Quality Management System is accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and is encompassed through our Quality Assurance Policy.

Focused on Sustainability

We are committed to operating as a responsible business to ensure a sustainable future. We support our people, nurture our projects, and develop our partnerships to enable the delivery of socially inclusive, environmentally sensitive, and economic growth outcomes.

Our responsible approach to sustainability complements global and national policy objectives. The creation of our sustainability framework and the adoption and successful integration of responsible business policies and practices throughout our team and supply chains demonstrates our commitment to:

  • Showcasing socially responsible leadership
  • Enabling positive local economic impact
  • Protecting and enhancing our environment

We are committed to Net Zero carbon emissions by 2045 and recognise the actions we can take to reach this target. To deliver our sustainability commitments, we aim to:

  • Prioritise the health and wellbeing of our people.
  • Create positive social impacts where we work.
  • Mitigate our carbon footprint by minimising our utilities consumption.
  • Minimise our transport emissions.
  • Ensure our use of resource is efficient.
  • Establish a responsible and ethical supply chain.
  • Adopt responsible construction practices that protect and preserve our natural and built environment.

Our Environmental Management System is accredited to ISO 14001:2015.
