Ward 68 is a Hyper Acute Stroke ward based in the Neurology building at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The refurbishment of Ward 68 included the full strip out of all M&E services, ceilings, walls, doors, flooring and finishes in a location positioned between two live wards, one above and one below. This meant all works had to be managed with multiple considerations and restrictions to ensure the business continuity of these adjacencies were unaffected.
