Ward 68 is a Hyper Acute Stroke ward based in the Neurology building at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The refurbishment of Ward 68 involved the full strip out of all M&E services, ceilings, walls, doors, flooring and finishes in a location positioned between two live wards, one above and one below. This required all works had to be managed with multiple considerations and restrictions to ensure business continuity of these adjacencies.
