This project has provided a facility to further enhance the creative arts department which Hutchesons’ Grammar School offers its pupils.
The new build Drama Department building is fully equipped to provide front of house, performance areas, and features a main stage with auditorium styled audience seating.
The backstage contains changing areas, toilets, costume and props stores, as well as all the facilities required to create a modern theatre.
The construction comprised piled foundations with a steel/timber kit frame, facing brick external walls, curtain walling and Sarnafil roof. A complete services package including stage lighting, sound systems, etc.
