Redpath was commissioned by Glasgow Clyde College to remove failing RAAC panels from the low-level section of ancillary and plant space at their Cardonald Campus.
This section was landlocked between the College’s gymnasium and main tower. 75% of the area below the roof was vacant and cleared but there were areas of congested plant spaces which had to remain functional during the project, except for minor down time for the boilers. The campus was in full use during our works.
It was important to maintain business continuity for the college, safety for all stakeholders, and maintain a weathertight environment in the space below the RAAC panels.
